Adjective Past tense affirmative rules

For い形容詞 i-adjective, you need to remove 「い i 」, and change to 「かったですkattadesu」.
For な形容詞 na-adjective, you need to remove 「なna」,and change to  「でしたdeshita」.

Example sentences

先生は　おもしろかったです
sensei wa omoshiro katta desu
[ The teacher was interesting. ]

東京は　すごく　あつかったです
toukyou wa sugoku atsukatta desu
[ Tokyo was very hot. ]

あのレストランは　サービスが　すてきでした
ano resutoran wa sa-bisu ga suteki deshita
[ That restaurant's service was nice. ]

テストの結果がしんぱいでした
tesuto no kekka ga shinpai deshita
[ I was worried about the rest result. ]
