I will introduce you how to recognize Japanese verb groups.
Overview
There are three groups in Japanese verbs, called 1st group, 2nd group, and 3rd group.
It is very important to proceed your Japanese learning.
1st group
If the verb ends i γΎγ/i-masu, that is 1st group.

*There are irregular 2nd group verbs.
Here are some irregular verbs:

3rd group
3rd group is only 2 verbs. Those verbs are always irregular conjugation.
