Verb Nai form + つもりです(tsumoridesu)
MEANING
"I am going to -" "Je vais "
When you want to expless what you are going to do, you can use this grammar.
※There is another way that you can express about your plan, for example ーと思っています -toomotte imasu, ーの予定です -noyotei desu. I will explain on another post. つもりですtsumori desu, can be used when you are determined to take action.
EXAMPLE
- 週末、 映画を 見るつもりです。
shumatsu eiga o miru tsumori desu
[ I am going to watch a movie this weekwnd. / Je vais regarder un film dans cette week-end. ] - 来年、 大学に 行くつもりです。
rainen daigaku ni iku tsumori desu
[ I am going to go to university next year. / Je vais aller à l'université l'année prochaine. ] - 来月、 北海道に 旅行に 行くつもりです。
raigetsu Hokkaido ni ryoko- ni iku tsumori desu
[ I am going to travel to Hokkaido next month. / Je vais voyager à Hokkaido le mois prochain. ] - 今年、私の国に帰らないつもりです。
kotoshi watashi no kuni ni kaeranai tsumori desu
[ I am not going to go back to my country this year. ]

- 山田さんは、会社を 辞めるつもりだと言っていました。
Yamada-san wa kaisha o yameru tsumorida to itteimashita
[ Mr.Yamada said he is going to quit this company. ]
